Since our store opened in January, 1973 in Arcata, on California's Northern Coastline, we have used a lot of different looks in our advertising. This is an opportunity to share some of these with you and to see how many of these you remember. Some of these we used only in ads, some are from old labels. Our original logo is the Art Deco version at the top of the column to the left, adapted by Jim Cherry from another design. Jeanette Cruz modified the design to the next one down for our first label.

We kept this label for about 10 years when we changed our soap label to a gold foil oval using the third one down. Marian Brady designed this label and the next one. We began using the lower case logo with bubbles in 1991, changing to the current logo created by the local design team Dos Manos in 1997. We have many great memories attached with each logo.

Though our products change, our commitment to quality is still the same because our goal is still the same -- to provide people with the best. We have been making our own soaps and other products by hand since 1973 right here in Arcata, and now we are proud to ship all over the U.S. and Canada. We invite you to join us as we celebrate over 30 years in business!
